Living in New York City has its challenges regarding one's ability to have spatial freedom. However, these obstacles create a unique opportunity for functional design to be showcased. After an initial iteration of my platform built in 2023, I worked out the kinks to provide a sleek and multifunctional space in my room that acts as not only bed and gear storage, but also a vertical space that gives the room dynamics in social and work settings.
